The Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly is solely responsible for waste management services within the Municipality ranging from waste collection and disposal, cleaning of public places such as market, lorry stations, drains and public open spaces. They also offer advisory services on environmental health and sanitation to the populace upon request.

Services are either rendered directly or outsourced to private service providers.
