The Human Resource Management department of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly organized a staff durbar on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Assembly’s forecourt.
The event aimed to provide updates on staff welfare, address grievances, and offer an opportunity for staff to socialize.
During the durbar, management shared information on the Assembly’s activities, programs, and projects, urging heads of departments to ensure productivity in their units.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Abraham Antwi, praised the staff for their exceptional performance, particularly during the District Assembly Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT) and Audit Assessment.
Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Charles Attah-Mensah commended the staff's commitment to the Assembly’s vision and acknowledged the ongoing office accommodation issues, assuring that solutions were being implemented. He also outlined new procedures for staff applying for study leave with pay and advised against engaging in partisan politics as the general elections approach.
The forum allowed staff to voice their concerns and seeks clarity on welfare matters.
