OFORIKROM MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOLDS STAFF DURBAR

The Oforikrom Municipal Assembly has held a staff durbar today at the Christ Resurrection church auditorium to foster and help strengthen the internal communication of the Assembly.

Addressing the staff, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Anwel Sadat Ahmed, spelt out his readiness and commitment to support staff in carrying out their services to the Assembly's progress. He reiterated that his doors are always open to everyone at any time when the need for discussions arises. He also reaffirmed his commitment to promote transparency, accountability and sustainable development under his administration. He encouraged all staff to contribute productively to the Assembly’s growth and development agenda.

The Human Resource Manager, Mrs. Pearl Bampo Minkah, in addressing the gathering, underscored the rules, regulations and it's penalties at the assembly. Stressed on the responsibilities and services of staff in ensuring the progress of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly ad they journey through the year.

The Municipal coordinating Director, Mr. Kwesi Mintah Owusu, also emphasized on staff attendance and records. He pressed the need to sign in and out of the staff attendance in order to ensure proper records of staff.

In an interaction session, staff raised various concerns on, encouragement, unavailability of cars for field work and also the dressing of NSS personnel at their departments, which the MCE and the Municipal Coordinating Director responded to with the assurance that leadership would prioritize addressing their issues in a timely and effective way.

The durbar ended on a positive note, reinforcing a renewed sense of purpose and cooperation among staff and leadership of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly.
