OFORIKROM MCE EMBARKS ON WORKING VISIT TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS

Hon. Sadat Ahmed has assured Senior High Schools’ authorities within the municipality of the Assembly’s resolve to address key challenges, particularly poor sanitation and deteriorating infrastructure, which has been affecting the quality of education in the schools.

“We are taking a proactive approach to ensure that the environment in which our students learn is clean, safe, and conducive for academic excellence,” he said.

The Oforikrom Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Anwel Sadat Ahmed gave this assurance when he visited some selected Senior High Schools within the municipality on Tuesday, May 27, to engage with school leadership and understand the pressing needs of the institutions.

“Education remains a top priority for the Assembly, and we are committed to working closely with school authorities to improve conditions” Hon. Sadat reiterated.

Accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Charles Attah Mensah, Heads of Departments, Assembly Members, and Government Appointees, the MCE visited Kwame Nkrumah Senior High School, Mancel Girls Vocational School, and St. Louis Senior High School.

Heads of the schools visited expressed appreciation for the visit and welcomed the MCE’s assurance, noting that improved facilities would greatly enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
