The Oforikrom Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with final year students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has organized a clean-up exercise to eliminate filth as part of its adopted monthly sanitation initiatives.

The exercise which commenced at 6:00 am at Anloga and Tech Junction on Saturday, 13th September 2025, saw the participation of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Anwel Ahmed Sadat, Assembly members and staff, department heads, the general public and party supporters who engaged in the clearing of weeds and wild grass, desilting choked drains, and open spaces, as well as collecting waste for final disposal at designated sites.

Mr. Simon Agangiba, the Municipal Environmental Health Officer described the initiative as part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental cleanliness and called on residents to continue supporting future sanitation campaigns to sustain a healthy living environment.
