The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Oforikrom, Hon. Anwel Sadat Ahmed MCE, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, met with residents of Ayigya Zongo and Kentinkrono to promote inclusive community participation in local development.

The engagement served as a platform for the MCE to interact directly with residents, listen to their concerns, and better understand the issues affecting their daily lives.

Hon. Ahmed Sadat expressed gratitude for the strong turnout and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to participatory governance.

Key concerns raised included the need for an AstroTurf pitch, youth employment opportunities, improved sanitation, and enhanced security.

Residents expressed optimism that their continued collaboration with the Assembly would drive meaningful progress in their communities.

Also present at the meeting were Hon. Issaka Ali Sambo and Hon. Kwame Owusu Basoah, elected assembly members for the two electoral areas, as well as government appointees and Assembly staff.
