In a significant development for the residents of Ayeduase and its surrounding areas, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly (AMA), Hon. Abraham Antwi, has officially inaugurated the commencement of a new health facility construction project in Ayeduase.
The MCE, during the groundbreaking ceremony, emphasized the critical need for an expanded healthcare infrastructure to accommodate the growing population of Ayeduase. The existing health facility, unable to adequately serve the community’s needs, spurred the decision to construct a more spacious and modern center to provide quality and affordable healthcare services.
The construction project, awarded to Fenabam Construction Limited, is slated for completion within six months. The MCE highlighted that the initiative not only aims to improve healthcare accessibility but also seeks to create employment opportunities for both formal and informal sectors within the municipality.
Hon. Antwi urged the contractor to execute the project diligently. He further called on the residents to support and contribute collectively to the successful establishment of a high-quality healthcare facility for Ayeduase.
In response to the MCE’s call for dedication, the contractor assured the Municipal Chief Executive, the Chief, and elders present that Fenabam Construction Limited is committed to delivering a superior standard of work. She expressed optimism about completing the project ahead of the estimated six-month timeline.
The Chief of Ayeduase, Nana Brosamfo, expressed gratitude to the government and the assembly for the much-needed healthcare initiative. He acknowledged the positive impact the new health facility would have on the well-being of the community and extended appreciation for the collaborative efforts aimed at improving the overall healthcare infrastructure in Ayeduase.
