Hon. Abraham Antwi Chief Executive of the Oforikrom Municipal Assembly has called on parents and guardians to prioritise the education of their wards by providing the necessary materials to aid their learning.

He further advised students to embrace discipline and hard work as a guide to achieving success in their education, shuning all forms of vices including gambling, truancy, alcoholism among others and concentrate on their studies.

He made this call the municipality celebrated this year’s 65th Independence Day Anniversary at the Royal Parade Grounds (KNUST) on the theme "working together, bouncing back better"
