The Oforikrom Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Military and the Police service, has embarked on a demolishing exercise at Dagomba line to pave way for the construction of a Steel Bridge to link Afful Nkwanta through Dagombga line and its environs.

Mr. Francis Ohenebeng, Urban Roads Officer for the Assembly who led the team stated that, the 30-kilometer bridge awarded to Bilqist Construction Limited and funded from the Road fund is expected to be completed within 12months from the commencement of the project.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Abraham Antwi who was also present was optimistic that the project when completed would help manage the decongestion and its rippling effects of flooding and other disasters that has bedeviled the area over the years.
